President Obama was officially sworn into office, marking the start of the second term, on January 20, 2013.  On January 21, 2013 the President delivered his second inaugural address to one millions attendees.

Thank you for inquiring with my office regarding your request for inauguration tickets.

The Presidential Inauguration will occur on Monday, January 21, 2013. My office will be allocating tickets for the inauguration ceremony to residents of the 4th Congressional District. More information is available at http://www.inaugural.senate.gov/ from the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies.

While we have not received any ticket allocations as of this time, I am happy to take your request for tickets. If you would like to request tickets please call my Washington D.C. office at 202-225-8203. Based on the volume of requests received, my office cannot guarantee that your request will be granted. If we are able to accommodate your request, you will receive an email or phone call from my office.

Please keep in mind that based on prior allocations and demand, we will not likely be able to accommodate requests for more than 2 tickets per request. Also, please note that the deadline to submit a request is 11:59 p.m. CT on January 3, 2012.

Viewing the Swearing-In Ceremonies from the National Mall does not require tickets. The non-ticketed area of the National Mall begins at Fourth Street NW.
